Coming off their Friday night class against one another that saw the Broadway Blueshirts come away with a 3-1 victory over the Devils, both teams were victorious on Sunday in separate games.

It took overtime for the Devils to skate past the St. Louis Blues on Sunday, 3-2. Nico Daws got the start at net for New Jersey. He earned his fourth win of the year, by recording 19 saves on 21 shots on goal.

New Jersey had jumped out to an early 2-0 lead on goals by Ty Smith and Dawson Mercer; however St. Louis tied it on a pair of early third period goals to force overtime.

The Devils didn't waste much time to decide the game. Only 1:12 into OT, and the Devils lit the lamp when Dougie Hamilton tapped in the puck for the game winner. The Devils (20-31-5) completed a season sweep of the Blues this season.

As for the Rangers, they pounded the Winnipeg Jets 4-1 on the road for its third straight victory. The Rangers now sit at 36-15-5, as they try to keep pace with the Carolina Hurricanes in the Metropolitan Division.

The night proved to be another stellar one for Chris Kreider who scored a pair of goals to tie him for second in the NHL in goals scored with 38. Krieder is one goal behind Auston Matthews of the Toronto Maple Leafs for the League lead.
