RUTGERS 75 - PENN STATE 50

Over the past couple of weeks, Rutgers Women's Basketball has started to come into their own, having won three of their final five games of the regular season going into the Big Ten Tournament. On Wednesday afternoon, they kicked that door down with a thunderous 75-50 victory over Penn State -- making it clear that, the Scarlet Knights are indeed ready for the moment.

Leading the way was Osh Brown, the veteran who was named Big Ten All Honorable Mention this week, poured down 18 points to lead the Scarlet Knights, and grabbed 13 boards in the process for her 11th double-double of the season, and 60th of her career.

After falling behind early by the count of 4-0, Rutgers rallied with a 15-2 run that included a three pointer from Jaiyln Mason and eight points from inside by Tyia Singleton.

Coming out of halftime with a 31-25 lead, Rutgers exploded in the third quarter, outscoring Penn State 23-11.

Osh Brown nailed three consecutive shots to help Rutgers build a 39-27 lead with 7:21 to go in the third. Meanwhile Penn State's shooting went silent, connecting on only 14 percent from the floor (2-out-of-14) as they struggled with Rutgers' zone defensive scheme.

Shug Dickson finished the day with 14 points on 5-of-14 shooting, while Singleton finished with 10 points. Both Dickson and Singleton had seven rebounds. Sayawni Lassiter finished the day with nine points in 11 minutes off the bench.
