GRIZZLIES 120 - KNICKS 108

Two nights after snapping a three-game losing streak with a 116-96 win over the Sacramento Kings, the Knicks hit the skids again in a 120-108 loss to the Memphis Grizzlies.

Jaren Jackson Jr. was one of three Grizzly players who posted points in the 20s, with Jackson leading the way with 26 points. Ja Morant put down 23 points on the Knicks, and Ziaire Williams added 21 points for good measure.

The tone of the game was set early when Memphis jumped out to an 8-1 lead in the games opening three minutes as Morant, Jackson, Williams, and Steve Adams all scored in the early going.  They would never trail, even leading by double digits before New York trimmed the lead down to 95-90 by the fourth quarter.

The lone bright spot for the Knicks had to be Evan Fournier who posted 30 points on 11-of-18 shooting, including going 8-for-12 from beyond the arc.

The Knicks (24-28) will head out west, starting with a date against LeBron James and the Lakers on Saturday.
