New Orleans Saints’ Head Coach Sean Payton Stepping Down
Yesterday was an emotional day for New Orleans Saints fans as they held a farewell conference for head coach Sean Payton. The news came to a shock for some and not so much for others as fans discussed the long career of the legendary coach with the saints wishing their coach a warm and meaningful farewell.

During the livestreamed conference Sean talked about several topics including his 16-year career as the team’s head coach. Thanking the media, fans and players for making each year special and memorable to him.
Some recall when the Saints won their first ever Super bowl title back in 2010 versus the Indianapolis Colts as well as other iconic moments in the team’s history. Though the question to who will step up to the shoes left behind by Sean Payton is still in question. But during the press conference Sean gave his opinion.

Despite this emotional farewell, it’s being reported that Sean isn’t exactly done with being in the public eye, this move is more of just a step away. However, what could be next for the long story of the second longest tenured coach in the league? It’s possible he could return to coaching or something else within sports. The only thing that is for sure is that he will be missed dearly by friends and those that worked with him.
