KNICKS 108 - MAVERICKS 85

A 32-point performance by R.J. Barrett, and a good night by Julius Randle without the booing from the Madison Square Garden faithful headlined a dominant 108-85 Knicks win over the Dallas Mavericks. More importantly the victory pulls the Knicks to .500 at 21-21. New York has now won four of its last five games.

With his virtuoso performance on Wednesday, Barrett became the youngest player in franchise history with consecutive 30-point games. He was 9 for 11 for 21 points after halftime.

Meanwhile, Randle finished with a double-double, 17 points and 12 rebounds. The boos he received last week after the thumbs down fiasco were muted at the very least last night.

Mitchell Robinson also had a great night on the floor for the Knicks. Robinson was 9-of-10 shooting on the night for 19 points. He early bucket helped the Knicks build a quick 5-0 lead. New York would never trail in this contest as they totally shut down a potent Mavericks team on the glass.

Luka Doncic had a really quiet night for the Mavericks, shooting a poor 8-of-23 from the field, including going 1-for-9 from beyond the arc.  Doncic finished with 21 points, and was the only player on the Mavs roster with 20-plus points on the night.

The Knicks will travel to Atlanta to face the Hawks on Saturday at 7:30.
