Rutgers Women fall short at Buzzer to Purdue
PURDUE 60 – RUTGERS 58
Rutgers Women’s Basketball team erased a 21-point deficit, outscored Purdue 30-12 over the final 14 minutes of the Sunday’s game, and still lost in heartbreaking fashion on a buzzer beater by Jeanae Turner with no time left to send the Boilermakers to a 60-58 win.
The women were led by Victoria Morris who scored 16 points over 25 minute on the floor, including accounting for the final two buckets for the Scarlet Knights as they tied the game at 58 on a Morris jump-shot with 47 seconds to go.

That was just the stage setter for a dramatic finish that saw Jeanae Terry work her way inside the paint, bounce off a defender and hook the layup in as time expired.
