Rutgers Women’s Basketball Gets Much Needed Victory Over Delaware State
RUTGERS 74 – DELAWARE 36
Needing a victory in the worst way, Rutgers Women’s Basketball snapped a six-game losing streak with a dominating 74-36 victory over winless Delaware State.
Rutgers exploded out of the gate, dropping 17-points in the opening quarter, their highest output to start a game so far this season. Awa Sidibe led the way with 15 points. 10 of those points came in the opening quarter, including a three-pointer that opened the game.

Sakima Walker scored 11 with seven rebounds, while Tyia Singleton, Osh Brown, and Chyna Cornwell all added eight points apiece.
RU cleaned up the glass, 40-20, and assisted on 24 of its 30 field goals.
