Rutgers star wide receiver, senior, Bo Melton will take part in the Reece's Senior Bowl in Mobil, Alabama this upcoming February.

The Senior Bowl is the most prestigious college All-Star Game in the college ranks, as it serves as a first stepping stone for promising rookies looking to impress NFL scouts before the draft.

Melton becomes the 15th Rutgers player all-time to accept an invite to the Senior Bowl.

The Mays Landing native has had a decorated career at Rutgers. A team captain, who earned All-Big Ten Honorable Mention in 2020, and a member of the Biletnikoff Award Watch List, "Melton ranks seventh in the school record book with 157 career catches and is one away from tying Jim Guarantano (1989-92) for sixth. He is also one of just 16 players in program history to reach 1,500 receiving yards, currently 12th at 1,910 and 21 away from matching his position coach, Tiquan Underwood (2005-08), for 10th place. That includes five 100-yard games and 11 touchdowns," (scarletknights.com).

This season, Melton has hauled in 43 passes for 467 yards and three touchdowns.

Melton and the Scarlet Knights take on Penn State this weekend in Happy Valley. Kick off is at noon. Catch the game on Fox Sports New Jersey 93.5 FM and 1450 AM, or listen to the Penn State cast on our sister station 1250 WMTR.
