Moskos, 35, helped guide the Patriots a 3.38 team ERA, a 1.16 WHIP and a .212 opponents batting average, all lowest among all Double-A clubs in 2021.
Moskos joined the New York Yankees organization before the 2020 season as the pitching coach for Class-A Charleston RiverDogs. In 2021, with the Yankees new Double-A partnership with the Somerset Patriots, Moskos made the move up the east coast to New Jersey.
“To the Yankees organization, you welcomed me with open arms and you have helped me grow as much over the past two years. I will cherish all of the connections I made while I was there, and I am really sad we are parting ways. I can’t say thank you enough,” Moskos tweeted.
Well I guess this makes it official. Excited beyond words to join such an incredible organization and to be a part of an amazing MLB staff. Can’t wait to get to work in the pursuit of another World Series! Let’s Go Cubs! https://t.co/tqpF0eiRPs pic.twitter.com/diUPclJwYS
