Wisconsin Rolls Past Rutgers 52-3
Led by three passing touchdowns by quarterback Graham Mertz, and 129 yards on the ground from tailback Braelon Allen, 21st ranked Wisconsin was too much for Rutgers to handle, as the Badgers romped to a 52-3 victory.
Wisconsin has won five straight.
At 6-3, Wisconsin has created a logjam at the top of the Big Ten Western division with Minnesota (6-3), Iowa (6-2) and Purdue (6-3); setting up what will be an incredible finish to see who will make it to the Big 10 Title game in Indianapolis.
As for Rutgers, the loss was their fifth in-conference this season, and third straight defeat at SHI Stadium. It was the second time this season Rutgers had surrendered 52 points at home.
