After a historic run to the program's first ever Big 10 Regular Season Title, sixth ranked Rutgers will host Wisconsin in the quarterfinals of the Women's Big 10 Soccer Tournament on Sunday at 3:30 from Yurcak Field.

The Lady Scarlet Knights went 15-2 during the 2021 season, and were a perfect 10-0 in the Big 10. The 15 victories set a new program record.

18 different players have scored goals this season for Rutgers, with Frankie Tagliaferri leading the way with 12 goals and 31 points on the year. Ali Amirah, who was recently named Big 10 Offensive Player of the Week, is second on the team with eight goals and 21 points. Riley Tiernan owns 18 points, (four goals, 10 assists); Allison Lowrey  has 14 points (five goals, four assists; Sam Kroeger - 13 points with five goals and three assists, and Sara Brocious - 11 points with three goals and five assists to round out the double-digit point contributors.

Per Scarletknights.com, Rutgers claimed 13 conference weekly awards this regular season, the most in a single season for the program. The honors have included Offensive honors for Frankie Tagliaferri (August 31) and Amirah Ali (October 26), Defensive accolades for Gabby Provenzano (Sept. 7 and 28); Becci Fluchel (Sept 21 and Oct. 12), and Allison Lynch (Oct. 15 and 26).  Goalkeeper honors for Megan McClelland (Oct. 26) and Freshman recognition for Riley Tiernan (August 31, Oct. 12 and 19) and Kassidy Banks (Sept. 21).

Rutgers and Wisconsin did not play one another during the regular season. Rutgers is ranked #1 in the Big 10 Tournament, with Wisconsin ranked 8th.
