The Rutgers Brewfest in the Block R Party will take place at 12:30 Saturday, November 6, three hours before the Scarlet Knights take the field against Big 10 rival Wisconsin.

According to the press release issued by the Rutgers Athletics department:

"RU Brewfest in the Block R Party will begin at 12:30 p.m. The event features live music and more than 30 beer samples from local breweries and international brands. Tickets for RU Brewfest – which includes admission to the game and the festival – start at $50 for upper-level tickets and $60 for lower-level tickets. Season ticket holders can log into their online account at scarletknights.com/tickets to purchase only the ticket for the festival. Capacity for the beer festival is limited and fans are encouraged to purchase their tickets early. Sales for RU Brewfest will be cutoff at noon on Friday, Nov. 5."

The game against Wisconsin will also be Military Appreciation Day, and Rutgers will honor Special Olympics athletes partaking in the 2022 Summer Games in Orlando, Florida.

Kick-off between Rutgers and Wisconsin is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. It is only the fourth ever meeting between the two football programs. Wisconsin last played at SHI Stadium in 2014, a 37-0 Wisconsin victory. Rutgers has never beaten Wisconsin in its three prior meetings.

Before that happens, Rutgers will pay a visit to Illinois this weekend, with kickoff at 12 noon. Remember to catch the Miller Lite GameDay show with Dom Savino this Saturday at 10:30, and the Rutgers pregame show at 11 a.m. on your home for Rutgers football. 93.5 FM, 1450 AM, FOX SPORTS NEW JERSEY!!
