Rutgers men's basketball is reporting two more games on their home schedule have reached sold out status.

Match-ups against Merrimack (Saturday, Nov. 13) and NJIT (Tuesday, Nov. 16) are now deemed as sold out, meaning the program has sold out a record of 12-consecutive games dating back to the 2019-20 season.

In a press release issued on scarletknights.com, Rutgers' season opener against Lehigh on November 10 is already sold out. As are Big 10 match-ups against Maryland (Tuesday, Jan. 25th), Wisconsin (Saturday, Feb. 26th,), Penn State (Sunday, March 6th), Michigan (Tuesday, Jan. 4) and Michigan (Saturday, Feb. 5); all been called sell outs.

Demand for tickets are high considering the program's huge turnaround in recent years.

The Scarlet Knights went 16-12 last season, posting a KenPom ranking of 38 and NET ranking of 40. The team spent 11 weeks nationally ranked or receiving votes in the AP Poll, peaking at No. 11 in the nation.

Rutgers advanced to the NCAA tournament last year for the first time since 1991, and defeated Clemson 60-56 in the first round. It was Rutgers first win in the men's tournament since 1983 when it beat Southwest Louisiana. Rutgers had a chance to pull out the upset against Houston in the Round of 32, but fell short 63-60.

The last time Rutgers made it to the Sweet 16 was 1979.
