RANGERS 2 - MAPLE LEAFS 1 - OVERTIME
The New York Rangers evened up their record at .500 with a thrilling 2-1 overtime victory over the Toronto Maple Leafs on Monday night.
Artemi Panarin sunk the game winning goal at the 3:48 mark in OT to hand New York it's second consecutive win to even their record at 2-2 (2-1-1, officially).
Meanwhile, it was a huge night for goaltender Igor Shesterkin who recorded 40 saves to improve to 2-0 in front of the net for New York. In those two victories, Shesterkin has registered 71 saves on 73 shots on goal.
The Rangers visit Nashville on Wednesday.
