Coming off an incredible run through the NCAA Tournament that saw them upset Clemson, and nearly pull of an upset of Houston in the Round of 32, Rutgers men's basketball has sold out its season opener!

The news was posted on the team's website. Head Coach Steve Pikiell made the announcement during media day on Friday. The sell out marks the 10th consecutive sellout for RU since the 2019-20 season.

The program has sold over 5,000 season tickets with nearly 1,000 new season ticket holders added since the 2019-20 season.

According to Scarletknights.com, "With three games already sold out, tickets are moving fast. Fans are encouraged to act fast to secure tickets, with especially low availability for games against Wisconsin, Penn State and Nebraska, as well as the contest against Merrimack as RU looks to extend the sell-out streak to 11 games."

Fans still looking for tickets are encouraged to look on the secondary market via StubHub.

The Scarlet Knights went 16-12 overall, posting a KenPom ranking of 38 and NET ranking of 40. The team spent 11 weeks nationally ranked or receiving votes in the AP Poll, peaking at No. 11 in the nation.
